These terms govern your use of this website and any coordination services you engage from iMedCompanion. By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to them.
2. Nature of our services
We provide information about hospitals and specialists in China, and coordination services such as appointment arrangement, translation, interpretation, travel logistics and accompaniment. We do not provide medical care.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to follow the instructions of your treating physicians, and to obtain any visa, insurance or travel documentation required for your trip. You are responsible for your own medical decisions.
4. Enquiries and quotations
Submitting an enquiry creates no obligation on either side and takes no payment. Service fees are quoted in writing and are separate from any medical fees charged by hospitals.
5. Medical fees
Medical fees are set and collected by the hospital. We do not set, negotiate, collect or take a margin on medical fees.
6. Cancellation
You may withdraw from our services at any time before the commissioned services are delivered. Fees for work already delivered may still apply, as stated in your written quote.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the services is limited to the service fees you have paid. We are not liable for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes or the acts and omissions of hospitals and clinicians, which are independent of us.
8. Intellectual property
Content on this website is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit false information, or use the enquiry channel for anything other than genuine healthcare enquiries.
10. Third-party services
Hospitals, clinicians, insurers and travel providers are independent third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to services they provide.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is identified by its effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
